The Car-Bio concept – providing a sales tool for pre-owned sales that is simple, easy to use, and beneficial to both consumer and dealership – was an evolutionary idea developed by the founder, David. With over 30 years of varied experience in the automotive industry, David is knowledgeable in all aspects of the industry. He remains active in all aspects of Car-Bio, from marketing to technology to production – to ensure a level of quality in services and products that exceeds customers’ expectations. He understands the dynamics of dealership operations and the needs of the sales staff. And, most importantly he understands the importance of the pre-owned profit center to dealership’s longevity and fiscal health.

John Perez

John Perez is a visionary leader with broad-based automotive experience. He is resourceful and innovative, always searching out new ways to improve operations and elevate best-practices.
Born in Cuba, Perez earned a business degree from the University of Georgia and served overseas in the U.S. Army. Returning to civilian life, he began selling cars at Koons Ford in Washington D.C.
After moving back to Atlanta in 1973, he became the General Sales Manager of Akins Ford in the suburbs of Atlanta, with his leadership the dealership became one of the top volume Ford dealerships in Georgia. By 1976, Chrysler Corporation was looking for a strong dealer candidate to operate an underperforming Atlanta Dodge dealership. Perez became the Dealer/Operator of Dodge World in 1976 and within a short period the dealership became the highest volume Dodge dealership in the Southeast. In 1982 Perez purchased another underperforming Chrysler dealership in Atlanta and within 6 months Autoland Chrysler/Jeep became the largest volume Chrysler dealership in the Southeast. He continued operating these dealerships until 1992 when he sold them to a major Auto Group.
Realizing a need for his talents in the automotive sector, he founded his own consulting company to assist U.S. dealers with turnaround management services, operating as a consultant for over 5 years.
In 1998 Perez founded Crosslander USA to manufacture and distribute rugged 4x4 vehicles in Europe, Asia and South America. By 2006, Crosslander sold the manufacturing plant in Europe and the company received exclusive representation to import Mahinda vehicles to the U.S.
Presently, Perez is the President of CB Auto Group, Inc. which is the exclusive distributor for Car-Bio the only printed storybook and digital guide produced for each pre-owned vehicle in a dealerships inventory.
His passions away from work include boating, baseball and helping others; he is very involved with Home for the Homeless and similar programs through his church. His wife, Lyli and he have one teenage child and are actively involved in his school and baseball endeavors. John and his family live in Miami, Florida. Bill Goetze

Bill Goetze began his automotive career with Chevrolet Motor Division in the 60’s, years later moving to Chrysler Corporation. In both organizations his sales and marketing savvy, coupled with a very credible dealer rapport and effective leadership skills lead him to rapid growth in the Automotive Industry.
In the early 70’s Goetze joined Mazda Motors of America where he played a large roll in building the U. S. dealer distribution network. Years later he joined Subaru of America, becoming vice president and general manager where his leadership skills help lead Subaru’s explosive growth in the 70’s and 80’s.
In the late 80’s Goetze rejoined Mazda advancing to senior vice president and general manager. During this time he was instrumental in developing a sales, parts and service team that achieved record-breaking sales growth throughout major U. S. markets.
After retiring in 1997 Goetze has continued with his effective marketing and leadership qualities assisting several automotive related ventures.

Ray Haustein

Ray’s automotive background started in 1973 selling AMC vehicles in the South suburbs of Chicago. From 1973 through 1980 he worked his way up in the dealership business from sales to used car management through F&I and a GSM position. In 1981 he started a career with Pat Ryan and Associates. “Spending 15 plus years was a great experience. I worked and trained all over the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom.” Ray has trained thousands of Sales and F&I people over the years.
In 1998 he joined Automotive Protection Corporation as their National Training Manager and spent 10 plus years traveling the U.S. and Canada writing training programs and executing them throughout these countries. The past four years Ray has been self employed and marketing products, programs and training for Auto and R.V dealerships across the U.S. “I am excited to be a part of such an exiting program as Car Bio. This program will differentiate a dealer from their competition as well as increasing their sales and profits.”

Jenny Andrews
Customer Relations & Operations Manager

Prior to coming on board with Car-Bio in 2005, formerly Auto-Bio, Jenny worked hand in hand with the General Managers of multiple dealerships. Her expertise in dealership operations provides her with the knowledge and insight necessary to manage the production team effectively, to ensure product quality and provide the satisfaction of every Car-Bio customer.

Warren Meyer
IT Director / DB Administrator

Warren has more than 25 years of experience developing and managing software applications. He has worked for a wide range of Fortune 500 companies, including Levi Strauss, Schick Safety Razor, and Bank of America. More recently, he has worked as a software consultant at a Big 5 accounting firm. His clients have been located across the United States, in Hawaii and the island of Guam.
Since coming to Auto-Bio five years ago, Warren has been involved in developing custom applications that automate the preparation of Auto-Bio books and eCar-Bio service. He has implemented improvements to every step of the process, from data collection, to formatting and printing, to custom links to the eCar-Bio service.
